Traveling with Kids - Boredom Busters

Keeping kids entertained is half the challenge when traveling. If you can prevent boredom it also helps keep them from fighting with each other. You also don't want them going brain dead from video games or TV the whole trip. Here are some boredom buster ideas your family might enjoy.

 Pack backpacks with coloring books, crayons, puzzle books and miniature toys.

Making an art box for each child – scissors, glue sticks, journal, stickers and markers – is a good option for older kids.

Take a deck of cards and magnetic game boards.

Take a small stuffed animal along and take pictures of "his journey". Let the kids make a scrapbook.
